Kathy Schwalbe, author of several specialized project management textbooks, requested that Cengage hire me to develop the eighth edition of her market-leading Information Technology Project Management textbook. I worked with her on the book’s first edition. Our challenge was to bring new life to the book to stimulate sales.
- Successfully steered the author to include at least 30% new and updated material, valuable to instructors and students.
- Introduced new real-world examples without incurring permissions costs.
- Updated all references and prepared all files and final art manuscript to production specifications. Delivered all work and coordinated all changes to manuscript on time.
